First ever EMERGE conference is being held on May 11th, 12th, & 13th of 2019.
With 10 sites across 8 countries, EMERGE network is growing day by day. EMERGE network and its members meet virtually every once in 2 months to discuss EMERGE's vision, goals, and other governance structure. This May, 2019, University of Michigan's Department of Emergency Medicine is hosting the first ever face to face EMERGE conference at Ann Arbor, Michigan. The 3 days conference will help define the structure and bylaws of EMERGE with the help of strategic planning and global experts in emergency medicine.
A tentative broad agenda for May conference:
May 11th, Saturday – Working Dinner starting approximately at 5pm
May 12th, Sunday – Steering Committee Discussion. Formalizing vision, goals, organizational chart, research priorities, research education, sustainability.
May 13th, Monday – Open Session. Highlight each site’s accomplishments, discuss strategy, site’s poster presentations, data collection, patient protection, good clinical practices, innovation, etc.
